備後ヤマモについて
品質の高い畳表として名高い "備後畳表”
かつて、「備後ヤマモ」は、尾道を拠点とし備後畳表の流通を担っておりました。
その当時、別荘として建築され、使用されていた建物を少しずつ修復、改装し
2021年、 貸別荘としてスタートしたのが、備後ヤマモです。
代々、受け継がれてきたこの屋敷を、一部リノベーションし
より多くの方に箱庭的都市「尾道」を気軽に愉しんでいただけるように
利用していただきたいと願い貸別荘（民泊）として生まれ変わりました。
Interesting fact about BINGO YAMAMO
The area around Onomichi and Fukuyama was once known as "Bingo".
In the past the "omote",the top layer of the tatami mats,
were produced in this area and were regarded best -in-class.
"BINGO YAMAMO"was one of the omote distributors, situated in Onomichi.
Back then, the founder built this vacation house for him and his family.
The house -and family home- has since been passed down from generation to generation.
In 2021 we decided to turn it into a holiday retreat, offering many people the opportunity to experience and enjoy Onomichi-just as we did for generations.
